Molly is an actor and illustrator based in New York City. She is the illustrator for Tiny_Theatre’s Who Killed Zolan Mize and The Hunt for Milo Gatto (Parts 1 and 2), as well as the illustrator for the bilingual treasure hunting book, A Heart in the Sand and the children’s comic book Captain Flip Flop vs. The Quaranteeny Genie. Molly is also the graphic designer behind the new musical, My Favorite Podcast, and the merch designer for the Minneapolis-based indie-pop band Maria and the Coins. She operates her own illustration and graphic design business, Molly Coyne Illustration, and is available for children’s book illustration, logo and branding design, and commissioned artwork. As an actor, Molly has worked regionally across the southeast, and in New York City, where she’s originated roles in two new musicals, The Sycamore Street Kite Flying Club (starring Pippin‘s John Rubinstein at Lincoln Center) and PYM: A New Musical (Dixon Place). In her free time, Molly loves to play the Bluegrass Fiddle, cook, read comic books, quote Disney movies (question: Does that include Star Wars after Lucas sold out?), snuggle her two kitties, and go on long walks to Astoria Park with her amazing husband, Brian Hatch.
